Who We Are
Lions Event & Film Rentals is a Port Coquitlam based equipment rental supplier. We primarily serve the enterainment and film industry in B.C. With founding principles of reliability and quality, our team delivers a seamless rental process, every time.
Our core strength is providing the essential infrastructure behind events and productions. With B.C’s widest range of equipment rentals, we are capable of supplying to virtually every industry.
Through years of expertise in B.C.’s entertainment industry we source what you need, even when it seems impossible.
Our Story
2021: Lions Event & Film Rentals was formed in 2021 and started as a small scale equipment provider operating in the Port Coquitlam area. With a continuous expansion of inventory our rental collection began to grow with the addition of tents, lighting and table linens.
2023: We revamped our rental inventory and added other key items such as lawn games, decor, larger tents and more. This year our focus shifted to weddings and festivals, notably supplying equipment for the New West Hyack Festival and many corporate events.
2024: This year we expanded operations into large tent structures as well as festival / industrial rental equipment. With key additions like frame tents, heaters, lighting, and expanded table quantities, our team was able to serve large scale events. We partnered with groups like Dominion Lending and several municipalities to supply equipment.
2025: After rapidly outgrowing our old home, in 2025 our team completed our move to our current warehouse in Port Coquitlam. This year we also expanded into the Vancouver Film Industry. With the writer’s strike ending, Lions became a key supplier of location gear for film production basecamps across B.C.
Who We’ve Worked With
We’ve worked with some pretty amazing people. Our rental equipment has been in places all over Vancouver. From the Eastside Flea Market and the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver to the farms of the Fraser Valley, we’ve really been just about everywhere.
