RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
Reservations are recommended to guarantee availability and are made on a first come first served basis, a quote is not a reservation and does not guarantee availability. A credit card is required to make a reservation. A 50% of total rental deposit may be required to reserve rentals; this deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due prior to the delivery date and is charged to the credit card provided, or other form of approved payment. Upon pick-up once all rentals are checked over and final invoice is issued. Acceptable forms of payment include Visa, Master Card, cheque and email transfer.
HOW ARE TENTS SECURED?
All tents need to be secured. Tent rentals will be installed with standard staking on Grass, Gravel or Dirt. The customer must ensure that the ground where the tent is to be installed is clear of any underground services. This includes: Natural Gas, Sprinklers, Power and Water Mains. We offer additional options for securing tents if staking is not an option. Please speak to your representative for additional costs.
DO YOU HAVE A DELIVERY MINIMUM?
Yes, $40 one-way or $78 round-trip.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Delivery and pick-up orders that have been booked with a non-refundable deposit will be given store credit for use in the future if cancelled within 30 days of your event date.
WHEN IS THE LATEST I CAN MAKE CHANGES TO AN ORDER?
We will always try to accommodate all request for order changes, however to ensure the best possible service to all of our customers all requests for changes to delivery times, locations and items must be submitted no later then noon two business days before your event. We cannot guarantee that requests to add items to your reserved booking will be accepted.
HOW DO I VIEW PRODUCT PRICING?

CAN I PICK UP ITEMS AT YOUR WAREHOUSE?
Yes, customer pick-up is an option.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRIMARY SERVICE AREAS?
We serve the BC lower mainland from West Vancouver to Abbotsford, however we will service further then that upon request. Please send us an email to info@lionsevents.ca if you have special delivery location requests!
WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY HOURS?
Our standard delivery and collection window is between 8:00AM and 6:00PM, Monday-Friday. For deliveries or collections outside of these hours, including weekends, a surcharge may apply. If you need to have your items delivered or collected within a certain time frame, an additional fee for “timed delivery” may apply.
PERMITS FOR LOCATIONS
Clients must ensure to review their local regulations and obtain the necessary permits if applicable. Lions Event Rentals will not check with your venue or location for permits.
WHAT IS YOUR DELIVERY RATE?
We deliver at $1.95/km from our Port Coquitlam warehouse, with a delivery minimum of $40 one-way or $78 round-trip. Extra fees may apply to big orders that require larger delivery vehicles.
DO YOU SET-UP ITEMS?
Certain items like marquee tents, stages, dancefloors and pipe and drape have set-up included in the price. Items like chairs, tables, linens, glassware or flatware and catering equipment is set-up by the customer or caterer. If you are requiring set-up for these items we do offer a set-up service upon request. Please note if your are needing this service in your quote request.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ONCE MY EVENT IS OVER?
For equipment pick-up, all chairs and tables should be stacked where they were delivered along with any other rental items. Items that have been set-up by Lions Event Rentals staff should be left where they were set-up, and staff will take the appropriate measures to take them down. All dishware should have food scraped off and placed back in their containers, along with any glassware returned to its racking.
AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGED/MISSING EQUIPMENT?
The customer is responsible for damaged or missing equipment. A repair/replacement cost will be assessed.
ARE YOU CLOSED ON HOLIDAYS?
We are closed on national and provincial holidays, and will accommodate your delivery and pick-up as close to those dates as possible if your event falls on a holiday. In special cases we can deliver or collect items on holidays. An additional fee for this service may apply. WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Large orders may be subject to a deposit due to secure your rental items. The remainder of your balance will be due three business days before your reservation date.
WHAT IS THE STANDARD RENTAL PERIOD?
Our standard rental period ranges from 24-78 hours. Longer rental periods are available upon request and may incur an additional fee.
MY BUSINESS IS TAX EXEMPT. WILL THIS BE REFLECTED ON MY ORDER?
Yes, once we receive your tax exempt documentation our accounting team will remove the tax.
